Setting forms to Vendor Default

Created by Andrew Dewell, Modified on Tue, 29 Apr at 5:04 PM by Andrew Dewell

Below are the steps to test the Vendor Default version of the form without Reverting Form Definitiond:

1. Set the Editing Permissions field to 4 on Users Form.  This option is not in the drop down and must be manually typed.

2. Log out and back in again.

3. Check Help on Form and all Forms should be Vendor Default.

4. Try your test again emulating vendor default forms.

5. After you complete the test, change the Editing Permissions field back to the original value on the Users Form.

6. Log out and back in again.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Do not leave the editing permissions set to 4.  If the user changes any form with the editing permission set to 4, the vendor default version of the form changes which can corrupt the base version.

Note:

A vendor Default version may not be a standard vendor default version if it is a Partner Form or has been modified by services.
